I recommend that the manager makes sure inventory is regularly checked. Businesses spend a great deal of time with tracking inventory. When a company does not audit its inventory, it is taking a gamble on unwanted risk. Some companies have experienced financial losses in the result of failed inventory controls. Inventory control can prevent a shortage and overstock of products. There is also a reduction in time spent on counting inventory because regular audit reports will have product information in real-time. Regular inventory audits will prevent loss and mismanagement of products. Losing products is not good for business. Companies have yearly shrinkage of products that went missing. Losing products can place a financial burden on a small business. According to Fortune, companies saw a 1.4% shrinkage in inventory.
